Insanity Golf FAQ

where is my order shipping from and how long will it take to receive my order?

Your items will be shipped out within 1-2 business days from Burnaby, BC Canada. Usually after you place your order and the payment is confirmed, we will provide your shipping label number for trackable items within a day. Normally you will receive your order within 1-8 business days for most of the costumers who live in Canada and United States, it depends on your location. We usually ship with the local carriers, e.g., UPS, FedEX, Canpar Express, USPS and Canada Post. 

For US customers, generally orders under $800 USD (not including shipping costs) are duty free. However, any taxes, customs or duty fees are the responsibility of the purchaser.

Will I receive a shipment tracking number?

Yes, for most of the trackable packages, tracking information is emailed after shipment is confirmed.

How does Insanity Golf electric golf trolley slow down or stop on a hill?

These trolleys have down hills slope control, they will slow down by themselves when they go down of the hills. Or you can  use hand dial or remote control to slow or stop your trolley. 

How do I park my electric golf trolley on a hill?

When you pack your golf trolley on a hill, you should park it at a sideways angle of the hills, avoid to park the trolley facing down or up of the hills. 

Can I use my electric golf trolley under the rain?

Under normal condition of rain will not damage the trolley, but make sure the battery and receptacle plug-in area is covered. When you hook up your battery on the trolley, please make sure the round, black receptacle is dry. If there is moisture inside the receptacle and you plug the battery into it, you can damage your battery and controller in the trolley. The battery in this case will not be covered under the warranty. 

How do I clean my electric golf trolley?

The best way to clean the cart is to wipe off any excess dirt, grass or mud with a wet towel. It will help to reduce the risk of damaging the electronics parts in the cart. To clean the wheels, you can remove the both side wheels and rear wheel, rinse under the water or wipe with a wet towel. Do not use high pressure water to clean up the cart. 

What do I do if there is a problem with my electric golf trolley?

If there are any problems contact us via Chat, email at info@insanitygolf.ca or text us at 1-604-319-4330.  In most cases the problem can be solved with an easy-installed replacement component that is shipped to you.  In rare cases, the cart is shipped to us for repair or replacement.  Please check the specific warranty information on the specific product pages on our website.

How do I take good care of my lithium battery?

Do not overcharge your battery,  charge your battery to 100% and leave it in the charger for a long time can reduce battery life.

Don’t drop your battery and keep the terminals clean, check on your batteries from time to time in case they are draining themselves .

If you are not going to use your battery for a few months, check on your battery every 2-3 months, your battery may lose some charge at that time, charge it to about 50% of the capacity before storing it in a secure place. 

It is not recommended to store the battery completely flat(empty), it can impact battery life or the battery appears to be dead. 

Where should I store my lithium battery?

Keep your batteries at room temperature, don’t store them near a heater, oven, or near a window with direct sunlight.

Storing lithium-ion batteries at a constant high temperature can significantly reduce their lifespan, run time and charge capacity. It can also permanently damage the batteries.

Store them in a place with a cool (that means around 20 degrees C) and dry place, but not in an extreme cold temperature place, the battery will drain quickly. 

Moisture or too much humidity can damage the batteries, so keep them dry. You can use silica crystal moisture absorbing sachets to keep the batteries dry.

Refund Policy 

Insanity Golf wants to make sure all customers are happy with their purchase.  If the cart is completely unused and brand new in it's original packaging and box, the buyer pays the return freight and a full refund will be issued. 

If the cart has been used, the buyer pays the return freight and must ship with oranginal box, we will charge for a handing fee $100 plus a restocking fee 15% restocking fee. A return authorization must be obtained from InsanityGolf.ca on purchases made and returned within 30 days of original order date. If custom purchased the open box items and final sale items will be no refund. Those charge covers the fee for checking and restocking the returned product.  Also included in the charge is the original shipping cost by Federal Express, UPS or Loomis Express and credit card  processing charges charged by the credit card processing company on both the original debit charge and the subsequent credit payment.  The items must be returned within 30 days of purchase, if it's more than 30 days from order date,  no refund will be issued.  We do not accept returns for hazardous materials, parts is not original, damaged items, flammable liquids, or gases. Warranty 

Insanity Golf will provide 1 year warranty from date of purchase on battery, cart motor and all electronic components under normal condition usage. Any breakage caused by accidental damage, or as a result of abuse or misuse, are not covered by the warranty. Wear and tear parts are not covered, eg. Seat, cellphone holder, drink holder, umbrella holder are not included in warranty. Labour is not included. Warranties are non-transferable.
